Our bodies were designed to move. Without movement, our brain and body won’t function properly.
Klapp is a Norwegian word that has two meanings:
1. Klapp – as in “Foldable”
2. Klapp – as in “Clapping hands“
KAOS Klapp design is based on the analogy of a staircase.
Users any size will quickly sit down and find a natural and ergonomic seating position, resting their feet on the various steps.
Our bodies were designed to move. Without movement, our brain and body won’t function optionally. That’s why KAOS Klapp is made for movement.

The wood fiber adds strength to the construction, plus a warm & unique touch and feel to the material and product. Besides, by adding wood fiber we are able to capture CO2 – for an estimated lifespan of 225 years – in a product that can be recycled up to 9 times.
The material has been custom developed in partnership with Fortum Recycling & Waste in Finland.
Klapp Recycled is manufactured in the Netherlands.
The material used for Klapp Recycled holds an EUCertPlast Certificate of Compliance, and a Kiwa Certificate. Our supplier of material, Fortum Recycling & Waste, holds The EcoVadis Gold Medal.
