KAOS Klapp Recycled is officiially a Rockstar.

KAOS wins Marie Claire Sustainability Awards 2024

KAOS is proud to announce that our Klapp Recycled Superstar has won the prestigious Marie Claire Sustainability Award 2024! This award celebrates products and companies that prioritize sustainability, championing innovation in design, materials, and environmental awareness.

The award is judged by an expert panel including Livia Firth, founder of Eco-Age and a leader in sustainable fashion, Dame Vivienne Westwood (in memoriam, whose influence remains strong through her work), and executives from organizations such as The Ellen MacArthur Foundation and Fashion Revolution. Recognition from such influential figures gives the award extra credibility and highlights its significance in the sustainability space.

Winning this award is a recognition of KAOS’ commitment to the circular economy, innovative design, and our mission to provide sustainable solutions for parents around the globe.

The Klapp Recycled Superstar, crafted from recycled materials, is a testament to how high quality and smart design can go hand in hand with responsibility for our planet.

Quotes from the Jury:

Why? KAOS is leading the way for a more sustainable future for babies and kids – without compromising on style. The brand is committed to producing timeless, reusable products that grow with your child. Building everything from scratch, its female owner-operators have spent almost a decade researching their products, with a focus on zero waste and building a circular economy.

The Klapp highchair is one example of this ethos – it’s made from 100% recycled plastic from consumer waste, and boasts 62% lower CO2 than other plastic products.

“I have a KAOS highchair and I love it,” enthuses Awards judge and Marie
Claire UK
senior beauty editor Katie Thomas. “When I say that it’s near impossible to find a chic folding high chair that looks smart in your kitchen I’m not exaggerating. This company proves that when you become a parent you don’t have to lose all sense of style. The fact that sustainability is such a focus makes the brand even cooler in my eyes.”

“I love the fact that each design is made using the least fabric or material
possible to avoid waste,” adds contributing fashion editor Penny Goldstone. “Not to mention stylish products that grow with your child so you aren’t discarding items after a few months.”
