The process around sustainability begins long before we start designing a product. We identify needs and research new solutions. The answers we get define the process from A-Z; It provides guidance on how we can design a product for a circular economy. It provides valuable insight into how production must be set up. And it gives us new ideas for how we can distribute more sustainably, such as with a deposit scheme. The aim is to produce with as low an environmental footprint as possible.
The world is flooding with plastic, and we are determined to do something about it. Together with Repreve, we recycle PET bottles that derive from consumer waste, and we turn them into durable, solid bags that can withstand the test of time.
Perhaps we can thank our parents for teaching us to “not leave the table with any food left on the plate”? Regardless, we are proud to be practicing Zero-Waste production in manufacturing our Klapp high chair.
We are proud to be leading the way! KAOS is first in the world to offer recycled, pawnable and recyclable baby gear. We work with AION by AkerBiomarine to secure a circular plastic economy.
The new variant of Klapp Highchair is made from 100% recycled plastic from consumer waste. A collaboration with Fortum Waste & Recycling in Finland. The chair has 63% lower CO2 than fossil plastics.
